Porumbescu, Ciprian

Ciprian Porumbescu(1853-1883), Romanian composer, studied with Bruckner in Vienna, he composed many songs of a nationalistic flavor, as well as an operetta on a Romanian theme. His name is attached to several conservatories in Romania. His works spreads over various forms and musical genres, but the majority of his work is choral and operettas, he also composed the national anthem of Albania.
